Borgomastro

The alchemical wisdom of the “Borgomastro” originates from the mystical figure of the “mastro del Borgo”; the head of the village.  The wisdom of this individual contributes to the wisdom contained within this wine which has been increasingly expressed over the years. Wine vinification and the maceration process often lasts more than 2 weeks to balance the extractive wealth of the raw material. The barrel maturation serves to tame the indomitable character of the aglianico grape.
